Live Album Review
RBTE Episode 44:
KISS Off The Soundboard: Poughkeepsie NY 1984
Two of the three generation are here for this episode, at the last minute Nick could not make the episode but as they say... the show must go on! Nikko and Rob take a look at the newest offering from the Off The Soundboard series with the Poughkeepsie NY 1984 release. What makes this and extra special release from the series that its the first to feature the late great Eric Carr, and if that's not enough this is the only known soundboard to feature the late Mark St. John. Marks tenure with the band goes by in a flash in the pages of the KISStory books. This album bis us the rare opportunity to hear exactly what Paul and Gene heard and what lead them to stick with Bruce Kulick. This is Mark's first full show with the band. He would previously only play the beginning of one show and the end of another. This was Marks time to shine. So let's dive into to this fast paste performance and hold one because were gonna be under the gun on this one!
